We are currently accepting applications for the position listed below. This role supports non-emergency, ambulatory passenger transportation; it is not an emergency medical or ambulance position.

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Accepting applications

Based in the Springfield, Virginia area. Route assignments and schedules depend on operating needs and confirmed service availability. Employment details are discussed during the hiring process.

What you will do

Transport ambulatory riders to scheduled medical appointments and recurring care.
Arrive promptly, follow dispatch instructions, and maintain clear trip communication.
Assist riders within the scope of your training, while respecting privacy and independence.
Follow safety procedures, document trips accurately, and keep vehicles clean and ready.
Represent Ainsley with professionalism, patience, and respect.

Requirements

At least 18 years old and licensed to drive for at least two years.
Valid Virginia driver's license for the vehicle operated, with driving record that meets applicable NEMT and insurance requirements.
Ability to pass required driving-record and criminal-background screening and any applicable drug screening.
Complete applicable passenger-safety, defensive-driving, and first-aid training before independently transporting riders.
Reliable communication, punctuality, familiarity with Northern Virginia roads, and commitment to rider confidentiality.

Final eligibility, credentials, training, scheduling, and start dates depend on applicable law, insurance, carrier/broker requirements, and Ainsley's operating authorization. Reasonable accommodations are considered during hiring.
